Artist Description:  The iconic Banana album cover created for the Velvet underground by Andy Warhol is probably the most iconic album cover of all time. So iconic in fact that I have created three different versions of it. There have been a few albums so far that I have created multiple versions of but this is the only one with 3.  This version features wool embroidery thread over the banana as well as the background but since the artwork was created by Andy Warhol I decided to embroider one of his quotes over the background. The quote is “In the future we will all be famous for 15 minutes.” This was embroidered and appliquéd in glitter fabric.
